Thermography Recertification

Current thermography certification is written proof of your up-to-date professional infrared qualifications. Ongoing recertification keeps your credentials current and ensures that your thermography qualifications are recognized wherever you go and wherever you work.

All ITC-certified thermographers must complete the following to renew their certification level:

All certifications, including renewed certifications, are valid for four years.

Thermography Recertification Requirements

There are two options to extend your thermography certification level:

Option 1:

These options reward full credit towards recertification.

Submit the recertification form showing the selected option, along with the appropriate paperwork. 

Option 2:

You can also earn recertification credits by professional contribution during your certification period (a total of 24 credits is required).

Submit a copy of the technical documents, along with this recertification form and a $595 USD processing fee.

 

The recertification form should be sent to ITC three months before your certification expires.  The form provides more specific details about what is required and where to send the paperwork.  You will also find this form in your training manuals.
